More About Williamston
A quaint and diverse town located just 10 miles east of Michigan State University, Williamston combines the convenience of living close to our state capital – Lansing – with the benefits of a smaller community founded on family, neighbors and friends.
Our entertainment district is becoming a destination spot for people throughout the tri-county area; we have flourishing and unique restaurants, an award-winning professional live theatre and an independently-owned and operated movie theatre, in addition to our exceptional shops, art galleries and City Hallantique stores. There is close access to Interstate 96 for easy travel to Detroit or west to Chicago, and destinations in-between.
And Williamston Red Cedar Jubilee each June is a week-long festival featuring parades, contests, food and fun that draws participants from across the country. Come see why Williamston is a place you want to call home!
